New Project- School House & Teachers Training School (Teaching Centre)
There is an immediate need for a school building at the Phaya Taung Monastery to facilitate teaching for Grade 10 students who have failed in the final stages of schooling in the State system and have no means of finishing their education. This will deny them a future.
There are many reasons why these children (annually about 300 in that area) fail: poverty, lack of facilities, ineffective English training, inadequate teaching methods etc.
As is normal the monastery will pick up the pieces and try and help these children cross the line.
